Visual identity proposal for Lars Fredrikson’s exhibition at Malmö Konsthall, 24.5.– 24.8.2025.The initial idea behind the concept is to translate formal and conceptual qualities of Lars Fredrikson’s work into a unified visual narrative, attempting to reflect the explorative nature of his artistic vision. This approach seeks to capture Fredrikson’s innovative and multifaceted practice, translating his lifelong exploration of space, perception, materiality and absence of it, as well as the experience of rhythm.
As a result of research based findings, a collection of visual motifs forms the foundation of the exhibition’s graphic identity. These motifs are expressed across key elements, including the poster design, exhibition brochure, a large entrance banner for Malmö Konsthall, and an animated version of the poster.
